The Breief
The client envisioned a mountain retreat that blended the authenticity of alpine living with modern comfort and understated luxury. They desired a lodge that would feel intimate for family gatherings yet grand enough to host guests, all while taking full advantage of the breathtaking mountain vistas.
Scope of Work
Arrus approached the project by weaving together the charm of traditional mountain architecture with refined contemporary details. The spatial planning emphasized open living areas centered around a grand stone fireplace, while private suites were designed for warmth and privacy. Natural materials—reclaimed timber, local stone, and woven textiles—were paired with sleek metal accents and large glass panels to balance rustic character with modern precision. Bespoke furniture was crafted to complement the architecture, and each room was styled with curated art and accessories that echoed the surrounding alpine environment. Outdoor terraces and lounges were integrated seamlessly, offering year-round spaces to experience the mountain landscape.
